Resolution workflow

The resolution workflow determines how someone corrects discrepancies after reconciliation identifies issues.

All modification actions require explicit user approval before execution. The AI prepares proposed changes, presents them for review, and executes only after confirmation.

Confirm-then-execute pattern

Resolution follows a structured sequence:

AI identifies issues: The AI analyzes the discrepancy and determines the root cause.
AI proposes resolution: The AI presents a specific corrective action with full transaction details.
User reviews: The user examines the proposed change and its impact.
User approves: The user explicitly confirms the action.
AI executes: The AI performs the required API call.
AI confirms: The AI reports execution status and documents the change.

Note

Every AI-initiated action is logged with:

The approving user
Timestamp
Reason for the change
Before and after values

This process creates a complete audit trail to support tax authority inquiries and internal review.
