About this guide

If you wrote legacy software using our AvaTax RESTv1 API, your integration will continue to function, but it will be unable to utilize any new functionality. To bring your integration up to date with the latest version of the AvaTax APIs, use this document to refactor your APIs from AvaTax RESTv1 to AvaTax RESTv2.

Note: If you're a technology partner who is refactoring your integration, contact Partner Launch at DG-PartnerLaunch@avalara.com when you're ready for your refactored integration to be reviewed.
