Chapter 1.1 - Account Creation

In order to begin using the REST v2 API, speak with your Customer Account Manager to obtain a Customer Portal Username and Client ID.

Once an account has been created for you in the Customer Portal, an email will be sent with a link to set your password. Follow the instructions to set your password and you are all set! The Customer Portal password that was just set is the same password used for REST v2 authentication.

Note

You will receive Password Reset emails from both the Sandbox and Production Customer Portal environments. Be aware of the environment when setting the password to avoid password problems later.
