Avalara API 22.7.0 Patch Notes

This article is about the July 2022 biweekly update to the Avalara API.

Sandbox testing window

The Avalara AvaTax release schedule includes a preview period. During this time,
the latest software is available for integration testing in the AvaTax Sandbox
Environment two weeks before launching
to production. If your engineering team would like a sandbox account for
integration testing purposes:

• Development and Solutions Partners
  (DSP), contact your business development manager
• Avalara customers, contact your
  customer account manager or open
  a support ticket

Fixes and improvements

AvaTax API enhancements:

• � Added fix for CO RDF tax rate issue.
• � Added new address types for VesselRegNumber and AviationRegNumber.
• � Updated ListParameterUsage API.
• � Updated CreateCertificate API to return region and country from Customer.

Returns API enhancements:

• Updated POA APIs to pass through business unit and subscription
  type if provided.
