Represents a versioned definition of a code list for a specific jurisdiction and date range

Date from which this version of the code list becomes legally or operationally effective in the jurisdiction. Typically corresponds to a go-live, mandate, or release date.

Date after which this version of the code list must no longer be used in the jurisdiction. Use a far-future date (e.g., 9999-12-31) when the sunset is not yet known.

Array of code entries defined in this version of the code list. Each entry contains the machine-readable code value and its human-readable description in the given locale.

Direction of the document media type relative to the document. `INPUT` is a payload supplied by the caller (e.g. the original UBL submission); `OUTPUT` is a payload generated by the platform or tax authority (e.g. a clearance XML or human-readable PDF).

Media type of the document, suitable for use as the `Accept` header when downloading via `GET /documents/{documentId}/$download`. May be a standard type (e.g. `application/pdf`) or an Avalara-defined custom type.

Returns the current document ID and status

Real-time list of the submitted and generated artefacts that are currently available for this business document. Anything listed here is downloadable via `GET /documents/{documentId}/$download`. **Returned only when `availableMediaTypes` is requested via the `$include` query parameter.**

Represents the document's business lifecycle state based on responses from external actors (Tax Authority, PDP, or ERP), such as acceptance, rejection, or validation.

The date and time when a new media type/artefact was most recently added to this document, displayed in ISO 8601 format with timezone. Compare against a previously stored value to detect newly available downloadable content without diffing `availableMediaTypes` yourself.

Array of reports associated with this document. Returns an empty array when no reports are present.

Unique ID for this document that can be used for status checking and file downloads. This is a UID created by the Avalara E-Invoicing platform.

Displays a summary of information about the document

Country-specific document attributes returned alongside the standard document summary. The shape of this object varies by country mandate. Each attribute within this object is individually searchable using `$filter` with dot notation (for example, `$filter=additionalDocAttributes.incarcare eq 'UP1312321'`).

Unique identifier that represents the company within the system.

Array of status events associated with this document. Events are included in each document in the response only when the query parameter $include=events is passed; otherwise the events array is not populated.

The date and time when a new media type/artefact was most recently added to this document, displayed in ISO 8601 format with timezone. Unlike `lastUpdatedAt`, this only changes when a new media type becomes available - not on every document update - making it suitable as a polling cursor to detect new downloadable content.

The `mandateId` is comprised of the country code, mandate type, and the network or regulation type (for example, AU-B2G-PEPPOL). Keep in mind the following when specifying a `mandateId`.
- A country can have multiple mandate types (B2C, B2B, B2G).
- A entity/company can opt in for multiple mandates.
- A `mandateId` is the combination of country + mandate type + network/regulation.

Lists the supported output document formats for the country mandate. For countries where specifying an output document format is required (e.g., France), this array will contain the applicable formats. For other countries where output format selection is not necessary, the array will be empty.
