Welcome to the AvaTax Brazil Integration Guide! This guide describes the steps you should follow in order to integrate Avalara AvaTax Brazil into your system. The sections are broken down into individual milestones in the order that they should be completed, so be sure to complete a milestone before moving on to the next.

For technology partners, each milestone includes a Certification Requirements section for you to quickly ascertain what needs to be accomplished in order to earn an Avalara Goods Calculation badge. The badge requirements are broken down into the following types:

Mandatory: This design element is required in order to become certified.
Suggested: This design element is not required, but we recommend that your UI includes suggested elements.

Note that certification does not entail a code review from Avalara. The requirements are provided to help you create an integration that is straightforward and uncomplicated for your end-users and to help ensure that your integration is tax compliant.
