# Important Points on the Response Payload

Our response payload includes not only tax rates and amounts to be paid, but also all the legal basis for each tax, and possible benefits available to the company.

Among so much data and information, there is an object that is very important but often overlooked in mapping. This object is called "taxImpact". This object informs the Tax Impact on the transaction so that the calling application (ERP's/ecommerce platforms/Marketplaces) can properly handle the Taxes on the transactions.

Taxes in a transaction may have a different impact depending on the type of transaction. That's why we need to return to the calling API the financial impact of the tax on the document being generated. This information is identified during determination, informed in the electronic document (NFE, NFS), and therefore needs to be passed back to the application that is calling Avatax BR.

This information must be returned to both NFe (GOODs) and NFS (SERVICES).
