# ClassyVue Prerequisites

Before you embed ClassyVue, you need a valid Profile ID, an allowlisted domain, and basic knowledge of HTML and JavaScript. Learn what to prepare before you begin your integration.

Before you embed ClassyVue, ensure you have the following:

-   A valid **ClassyVue Profile ID**, issued by Avalara when your account is provisioned.
-   Your **host domain allowlisted** for the target environment (`stage` or `prod`). Domain allow lists are scoped per environment; a `stage` allow list doesn’t apply in `prod`. Contact the Avalara account team to request allowlisting.
-   Basic knowledge of HTML and JavaScript.
