Learn about the authentication methods currently supported by AvaTax.

[Basic](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basic_access_authentication) is the only authentication method currently supported. A future version of AvaTax will add support for [OAuth](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OAuth).
