# Map business system companies to Avalara companies

Use a company management interface to map business system companies to Avalara companies and store mappings securely.

Provide a company management interface that:

-   Retrieves and displays companies from the Avalara tenant
-   Retrieves companies from the user’s business system or ERP
-   Allows users to select a company from their system and map it to an existing Avalara company

Store these mappings in a persistent and secure data structure within the connector. This makes sure that mappings remain available across sessions and system updates.
