# Company management in ELR

Learn how to design a company management interface to map and create companies between your system and ELR.

Your integration should provide a UI that allows users to manage companies between their business system and E-Invoicing and Live Reporting (ELR).

Users must be able to:

-   Map existing Avalara companies (legal entities) to the corresponding legal entities in their application
-   Optionally add a company from their application to the Avalara tenant through the integration

You may have already called `GET /scs/companies` in the connection step to retrieve the list of Avalara companies
