# How do I get access to sandbox?

Avalara has two environments for AvaTax Brazil: Sandbox and Production. Each environment is completely separate, and each has its own credentials. If you have a Sandbox account, you cannot use that account to log onto Production and vice versa. For developer partners in Brazil, we only release the Sandbox environment for testing.

## Prerequisites

Before you ask for a sandbox environment, you need to complete the steps below:

-   DSP Contract signed

-   Kickoff call done

## Requesting access

Once you are done with the steps previously described, please send an e-mail to the Brazilian Partner Launch Team: [dg-partnerlaunch@avalara.com](mailto:dg-partnerlaunch@avalara.com) to request your access.
