Review the questions/scenarios below to determine whether you're building a marketplace or ecommerce integration. -   Who sets the price for goods?

    -   If you set the price for goods, then you’re attempting to build an ecommerce integration.

    -   If the vendor sets the price for goods, then you’re attempting to build a marketplace integration.

-   Are you the merchant of record for all transactions?

    -   If you’re the merchant of record, then you’re attempting to build an ecommerce integration.

    -   If you’re the marketplace facilitator and not the merchant of record, or if you’re the merchant of record for your own direct sales and a marketplace facilitator for all other transactions, then you’re attempting to build a marketplace integration.
