# Display and store the deemed supplier in responses

Learn how to store and return the deemed supplier in transaction responses.

This topic is specific to the VAT marketplace solution.

**Endpoints/models used:** N/A

Your integration must store and return the deemed supplier of a transaction in transaction responses. In AvaTax transactions, the `deemedSupplier` field is returned at the line level in a response.

This requirement is handled through your backend and not via an AvaTax API call.
