# Verify that the Alcohol tax entitlement is enabled

# Verify that the Alcohol tax entitlement is enabled

Before continuing with this guide, verify that you have the Alcohol tax entitlement enabled on your account.

1.  Log in to your AvaTax account.
2.  Click on **Settings > Where you collect tax**.
3.  Verify that the **Alcohol tax** tab is available, as in the image below.
    -   If you are a technology partner, contact your business development manager if the **Alcohol tax** tab is not available.
    -   If you are an API client, contact your customer account manager if the **Alcohol tax** tab is not available.
