Learn about the AI-assisted onboarding experience and how it prepares you for guided configuration in the Avalara setup center.

This step introduces the AI-assisted onboarding experience and prepares the user to begin guided configuration in the Avalara setup center.

## When this step occurs

This step begins after the user completes the connector installation and initial setup for their ERP integration.

## What the AI agent does

At this stage, the AI agent:

-   Greets the user and establishes its role as an onboarding assistant.

-   Explains that it will guide the user through the required onboarding configuration steps.

-   Sets expectations for the overall onboarding workflow.

The AI agent prompts the user to start the guided onboarding process.

## Outcome of this step

After acknowledging the introduction, the user proceeds to the Avalara setup center to begin the onboarding workflow.
